Neue Technologien und die wachsende Verbreitung mobiler Endger�te im Endkundenbereich bieten nun das Potenzial, die bislang dem Online-Handel vorbehaltenen M�glichkeiten zur Steigerung der Konversionsrate auf den station�ren Handel zu �bertragen. Die vorliegende Arbeit verfolgt das Ziel, die Vorteile einer Personalisierung auf den station�ren Modehandel zu �bertragen. Dies soll durch Verkn�pfung von RFID-Technologie, Smartphones und Empfehlungsalgorithmen erm�glicht werden. Neben einer Untersuchung der Wirkung von Personalisierung auf die Konversionsrate und einer Betrachtung der Treiber von Personalisierung im E-Commerce erfolgt eine Potenzialanalyse der RFID-Technologie sowie von Smartphones. Mit Hilfe eines hypothesengeleiteten Vorgehens im Rahmen einer quantitativen Online-Befragung wird untersucht, welche Zusammenh�nge zwischen der Smartphone-Marke und ihren Nutzern im Hinblick auf ihre Ausgabe- und Zahlungsbereitschaft sowie ihr Verhalten in Bezug auf Bekleidung bestehen. Die daraus gewonnenen Erkenntnisse dienen zur L�sung des Kaltstart-Problems eines Empfehlungsalgorithmus f�r den station�ren Modehandel.
