This is MY opinion of the book Potential.

The plot was good, the story should have been as well but the misused and misspelled words, incorrect grammar, stilted dialogue annoyed me. The characters annoyed me. The lack of descriptive scenes annoyed me.

The mate bond between Connell and Ari had no substance. I can understand instant attraction but that was it. Aribelle also knew everything, I mean she was the perfect heroine. Strong, decisive and knowledgeable but nothing about her drew me in. The best friend who she has known for two days she spills all her secrets to because she has a feeling? What? Maybe because the entire book felt rushed and odd, I just didn't get it.

The plot was good. The idea of potentials should have made a fabulous book. I probably won't move on to book two when released.

I gave two stars because the idea for the book was good, the execution wasn't.

This book and author have potential.

Loved it! I think this book falls somewhere between young adult and whatever the new college age genre is called. The plot held my interest. I like how the heroines are sarcastic and witty. I wish they were a little more kickass. I do think that as the series progresses and more character development takes place. This book had me laughing one moment and then wanting to slap someone in the next moment. So, all in all a good read. Looking forward to reading more books from this author in the future. If you like this book you will probably also enjoy the Hidden book by t.j. yelden. I will also add that this book could benefit from some minor proofreading, but I overlooked that since I liked the story.

The story plot was a good idea. However it was too clich� for me. It needed more development in everything. This book just felt rushed and too teeny bopper! I will not be reading the next book.

Master of Cheesecake

Standard for all my reviews: When reviewing products, I always remain objective and honest about the product or service. I always review with information that I feel others would like to know about the product as I always assume what I'm writing will influence for or against the purchase. I always try to go above and beyond surface characteristics and input into quality, value and application. Most importantly, I will always end the review with an answer as to whether I'd purchase the product again which I believe is the most critical question pertaining to the item. To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know!

We bought two of these recipe books, one for my daughter (16) and one for my niece (6). My daughter loves making cheesecake and this is the perfect book. Instructions are simple enough for my daughter to follow and the results have been great. There's a lot of 'secrets' in this book that provide for making really good cheesecake, beyond just providing simple measurements and bake times. I'm not an accomplished culinary mind or chef, but this book gives you the feeling that you can master the cheesecake!

Definitely recommended and I'd purchase it again.

What a great book

As a displaced New Yorker that frequented this restaurant I can tell you that the recipes here are true to form. I finally got to make the cheesecakes I had grown to love and have missed since moving to Florida. i recommend this boook to anyone with even the slightest cooking talents. Make anything in this book and you won't be sorry you bought the book.

One Fantastic Cheesecake!

This was my Dad's cheesecake. Yes, he was the Master-Baker that was interviewed by Bob Lape the year the cheesecake became famous! He's the short one in the picture with Bob Lape in the "original" Junior's Cookbook, lol.

If you're going to try making the "cupcake cheesecakes," spray the liners with Butter Crisco (or Pam or generic) before you put the batter in - you won't be sorry as the liner almost falls away from the cheesecakes!

Epic into Novel looks at Henry Fielding's adaptation of classical epic in the context of what he called the 'Trade of . . . authoring'. This tension in Fielding's work has gone unexplored, a tension between his commitment to a classical tradition and his immersion in a print culture in which books were consumable commodities. This interest in the place of the ancients in a world of consumerism was inherited from the previous generation of satirists. The 'Scriblerians'--among them Jonathan Swift, John Gay, and Alexander Pope--repeatedly suggest in their work that classical values are at odds with modern tastes and appetites. Fielding, who had idolised these writers as a young man, developed many of their satiric routines in his own writing. But Fielding broke from the Swift, Gay, and Pope in creating a version of epic designed to appeal to modern consumers.

Henry Power provides new readings of works by Swift, Gay, and Pope, and of Fielding's major novels. He examines Fielding's engagement with various Scriblerian themes--primarily the consumption of literature, but also the professionalisation of scholarship, and the status of the author--and shows ultimately that Fielding broke with the Scriblerians in acknowledging and celebrating the influence of the marketplace on his work.

Nineteenth Century History of Oxford

When I opened this book, I was a bit surprised that the last chapter dealt with Oxford in the reign of Queen Victoria. Then I looked at the cover page; it was first printed in 1886! I'm not qualified to judge historical accuracy, but I can judge writing. It's sort of hard going for modern readers. This information is available somewhere on the book listing, I'm sure, but I certainly didn't look carefully enough to find it. Just be forewarned!
